“You’re off to Great Places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, so . . . get on your way!”

Today is the day. I’m headed to Area 81 this morning. Superhero is here with me, but soon will be headed back to manage the watermelon and Dragon Wing. The watermelons got a late start thanks to the bunnies and deer. I moved them and now hope to have fruit by, oh–let’s say. . . Christmas (laugh). The garden is actually doing well despite the misconception, by the local wild life, that it was established as a buffet for them.

I watered everyone before we left. I happened to notice this Begonia. It’s larger than the others and I couldn’t help but notice the size of it’s stalk. No surprise that you need a sturdy stalk for a large flower. However, it’s circumference was awe inspiring. I smiled; I can’t wait to see how much more fragrance, beauty, and joy it will bring to its environment as that circle of nutrition and stability extends.
