The fun is piling up! Start with a copy of The Witch With No Name signed to you know who – oh wait you don’t know who – but I’m going to tell you, and it could be yours if you dare to try. Then add a copy of The Drafter, the first book in the Peri Reed series, and you will have your hands full. But, that’s not all—there is more and I will share it with you closer to July 1st when the hunt for The Operator begins.
For now, know it’s free which means getting it will not be fast or easy, but it will be fun. My kind of fun which leads me to the other item in the picture; my Sudoku board, Superhero gave it to me for Christmas years ago (not giving it away:) and I can’t wait to do puzzles each week with people who love reading, riddles, and rescue.
I’ll say more about the rules, and how to win in posts over the weekend and the next few days leading up to July. I’m excited to be doing this—writers are readers first and I’m happy to promote an author I enjoy reading, even as I test and strengthen my own wings as a writer.
Reading, riddles, and rescue falls right in line with my rewrite. The Query Copy Edit is on schedule, but my biggest concern at this point is if I allocated enough time for the rewrite. Making notes in the margin or designing equations to bind the science is not the same as typing those things into a readable, page-turning work. I still enjoy reading the chapters which is a good sign and my challenge is to keep that enjoyment in the reading as I layer new things in.
