Our family loves to play games, so as a reader it feels nice to promote Kim’s work this way. Last Christmas Superhero answered trivia to win the handmade ornaments to decorate this miniature tree. It was lots of laughs because the pictures are our friends recreating the answers to the trivia from our Golden Egg’s favorite series (she’s grown now, but we still have our time turner necklaces). So, I know books matter and I want to give readers a chance to win some!
Hi readers – I have a plan to give you a chance to win this special hardback copy of The Witch with No Name. I need to share it with Kim first to see if she’s game. Her and Tim will be doing a project soon and it may be too much.
First of all this is a very special book. It is autographed, but that’s not all . . .
Who it is autographed to is what makes it unique for Hollows readers. As a Hollows reader myself I know how difficult it is to move from a world Kim made feel so real. However, she is an artist and I want to see her have the opportunity to create new worlds we can step into over and over again the way we did with the Hollows and her other works. So, as a promotion for her upcoming release of The Operator I’m giving readers five opportunities to win this specially autographed hardback copy of The Witch with No Name.
Here is how you can do it.
Each Monday and Friday I am posting clues for readers to win books from Kim’s new Peri Reed series. Peri is a Drafter, able to rewrite time at the sacrifice of her mind. In both The Drafter and The Operator we see glimpses of Peri’s journal – worn and losing pages – it is sometimes the only clue, not just to her past, but to her heart. The newest book in the series, The Operator, is coming out in November. So, for Hollows readers and new readers I’m going to ask Kim to select one page from The Operator each Friday for the next five weeks – her choice, selected like fallen pages from a journal – for you, her readers, to see what you don’t want to miss in November. I will post that page along with one clue about who this special hardback The Witch with No Name is autographed to.
To have a chance to win, read the page Kim selects then go to her Goodreads page and tell her what you liked about it. Then email me at AlexisTDH@outlook.com with your Goodreads name and your guess about who the Hollows book is autographed to and I will put you in for the drawing. At the end of the five weeks you will have had five chances to enter. The more times you enter the more chances to win!
