This is a forever memory that reminds me books make a difference. Thank you to everyone who showed up to celebrate the love of books! If I took a picture for you, I have posted it in the galleries below so you can snag it up. Click on picture to open full image.
See how these characters saved the day when ignorance locked away all the books with words! I created a fun comic story for the event – hope you enjoy it 🙂
Wonder Woman made her debut saving the President at the 1939 World’s fair. I used that fun fact along with several others to give readers a clue about who I was going as to the Literary Costume Ball at the Library of Congress.
Good news for all the people who drew a book held by the Lasso of Truth at the event. Your character’s name has been put into a random raffle to win a book! When we give away the bottle of wine to the winning author in October, if your name is drawn in the book raffle you win the book of that author. Email me at alexistdh@outlook.com with your email and I’ll reach out to you if your character’s name is drawn.
